| Sue worked for Marti and Tony in the summer of '99. She liked the business so much she bought it! Sue decided to change her career to experience the outdoors fulltime; she attended school for outdoor leadership training, with a focus on kayaking and wilderness first aid. It's a good thing the program had a business component! | |
| Carlin started working for Sue as a Shop Manager way back. She became a guide a few years ago and now is the general manager of Kayak Pender Island. When not on Pender Carlin attends university somewhere east of the Rockies. | |
| Tony decided to take a break from managing the kayak tours and lessons. Still guiding however, he delivers informative tours, utilizing his knowledge of kayaking and nature. And he still keeps a hand in the kayak biz: if you'd like to discuss buying a Boreal Kayak give Tony a call at 629-6767. | |
| Herb and Deb join us again from their home on the prairies. They've a home on Pender now too and we're just waiting for them to move here permanently. | |
| Jay's a certified guide and Swedish massage practitioner; he'll be happy to discuss Orcas, seals, jellyfish and suggest solutions for aches and pains. | |
| Jess spends a lot of her life on the water too. She paddles her kayak from Mayne Island (where she lives), loves to sail (and sometimes lives aboard) and generally loves the water. | |
| Roger's also back this year. Roger has years of kayaking experience and has done some extended kayak journeys. | |
| Chris is our newest guide and a former resident of Tofino. Welcome to the crew Chris! | |
